If you had a broken leg, severe chest pain, or a prolonged flu, you probably wouldn't think twice
about getting medical treatment. Nor would you hesitate to recommend it for a loved one or close
friend in pain. But would you be as willing to seek or recommend professional help for an emotional,
behavioral, or mental disorder? You should be, and the Worthington Center Inc. can provide the
professional help you or your loved ones need.
A behavioral health center licensed by the West Virginia Department of Health and Human Resources,
we offer a range of outpatient
treatment programs for adults, children, and adolescents suffering from mental, behavioral, or
emotional distresses.
The healing begins with just a phone call.
Covered by most major insurance programs and Medicaid, Outpatient services may be provided either
through the Worthington Outpatient Treatment Center or through our Adult and Child/Adolescent Crisis
Stabilization Programs.
Issues commonly confronted and conquered by patients during therapy sessions include the following:
- Life events associated with retiring from or changing jobs or careers; illness; relocating to a
new area; separation, divorce, or loss of a spouse
